This weekend marked the 5th edition of our Gourmet Hike.
This year, our hikers had the chance to explore the villages of Marcilly-sur-Seine, Saron-sur-Aube, and Conflans-sur-Seine on a 13-kilometer loop. The route included several stops to enjoy the appetizer: a creamy cauliflower soup with a cheese crumble from La Ferme des Onglées, served with a glass of Claude Cain Champagne or apple sparkling wine from Verger de l’Arly; The main course: a pasta salad by Papote, accompanied by cold cuts from Paradis du Porc, along with a glass of rosé wine from Château de Monternot or a glass of apple juice from Verger de l’Arly; Cheese: Brie de Meaux, Chaource, and Comté from La Fromagerie Vercruyssen; and finally, dessert: a strawberry financier from La Ferme des Onglées.
