After a gloomy spring, it's time to enjoy the sunshine! And what better way to do that than with a walk to discover Sézanne while having fun?
Being the big kid that I am, I grabbed my activity book and pencil and set out to solve all the puzzles in it.
And we start with Place de la République! Observation is key: I discover architectural details that were previously unknown to me. First question successfully completed!
I continue my walk towards the old college, then towards Champ Benoist. I arrive at the Town Hall garden, which I find to be full of flowers and very pleasant. I answer this question, then continue my walk towards Rue Cogne-Fort and Mail des Cordeliers. I arrive at Mail des Religieuses at 4 p.m. and take the opportunity to enjoy a quick snack in the shade of the lime trees.
Let's continue our tour by heading back up to the market hall, with a quick detour to the Récollets convent. This Baltard-style market hall, listed as a historic monument, is truly beautiful, and the questions in the activity booklet allow me to observe it from every angle.
Here I am back at Place de la République for the very last question, about the Church of Saint-Denis.
My booklet is complete, so I return to the Tourist Office, where they will check my answers. Great, I know Sézanne like the back of my hand, I answered all the questions correctly, and I won a prize!
During that afternoon, I exercised my brain and my legs, I felt like a child again, and above all, I discovered Sézanne!
