Did you know that it is possible to see the Northern Lights near where we live?
This magnificent photo proves it!
This photo was taken by Vincent Masson, a passionate amateur photographer. On Sunday, November 5, 2023, Vincent noticed numerous alerts on his smartphone, particularly on a dedicated app, indicating very strong auroral activity since the morning. Vincent therefore decided to try his luck, as he had done in February 2023, when he had already been able to photograph this rare phenomenon.
So, as night fell, convinced by the absence of clouds, he decided to position himself near Barbonne-Fayel in order to have a clear northern horizon. It was around 8:00/8:30 p.m. that activity peaked and Vincent was able to capture this image.
