Located in Nogent-sur-Seine, the Camille Claudel Museum is a must-see destination dedicated to sculpture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It showcases the work of Camille Claudel, alongside that of many other artists of her time, in a rich and accessible exhibition.
Throughout the year, the museum offers a varied program of events: exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, lectures… all of which provide opportunities to experience art in a new way, whether with family or among fellow art enthusiasts.
Throughout 2026:
• Meditate while watching “La Valse”
A free Mindful Art® audio clip guides you through a meditation session lasting about ten minutes. It invites you to slow down and explore the forms, textures, and emotions of *La Valse*, Camille Claudel’s masterpiece.
This audio clip was produced with support from the Aube en Champagne agency and the Slow Tourisme Lab.
Prices: Included in the admission ticket
• Interactive mobile game: “Camille Claudel’s Studio”
All year long, step into Camille Claudel’s studio and take on a major challenge: help the sculptor create a monumental marble sculpture.

• Mystery game: “Mouseîon’s Investigations”
For curious kids who love puzzles, Mouseîon's mysteries are available for free.
They invite families to search for characters depicted in the sculptures by following clues from Mouseîon, the museum’s mascot. Presented in seven booklets, the scavenger hunts can be completed over the course of several visits.

The July 2026 events schedule:
• FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
→ Sunday, July 5, 2026

• MOUSE AND SNAIL – MODELING
→ Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The mice created by sculptor Georges Gardet are quite curious… One is peering into a snail’s shell, while the other, looking quite mischievous, is climbing on top of it. Each budding artist, together with their mentor, sculpts mice and snails and imagines a story that connects them.
Ages 3 and up.
• OUR BEST FRIEND – MODELING AND ARCHAEOLOGY
→ Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Inspired by the dogs depicted on archaeological artifacts and in the museum's sculptures, participants mold a dog out of clay.

• HAPPY HOUR – AT THE HEART OF MATTER
→ Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
Offered during aperitif hour, these guided tours and tastings begin with a 30-minute tour focusing on a work of art, an artist, an art movement, or a specific theme, and conclude with a tasting in the museum’s auditorium, which offers an exceptional view of Nogent-sur-Seine and its surroundings.
Transforming raw materials into sculpture or wine: it’s not as far-fetched as you might think! Watch Camille Claudel shape her materials, then learn more about Raphaëlle Guyot’s production of Pays de l’Yonne wines as you taste her wines with their inspired names, *La Valse* and *L’Aurore*.
• STORYTELLING TOUR WITH THE MUSEUM'S HEROES

In partnership with the Nogent-sur-Seine Library as part of the Partir en Livre festival. Children and adults alike will set out to meet the museum’s heroes during a tour and a storytelling session among the sculptures. Afterward, they’ll sculpt their own hero. What will his or her superpower be?
