Sézanne Region Study Center

Presentation

Since 1998, the CEPS (Center for Studies of the Sézanne Region) has been actively working to promote and highlight the heritage of the Southwestern Marne region. Led by a team of passionate volunteers, the association is dedicated to raising awareness of the cultural, historical, and human richness of this region.

Every year, the CEPS publishes the journal *Du Pays Sézannais*, a valuable resource for passing on and sharing local knowledge. This publication features a variety of articles: historical research, studies on local life, profiles of iconic figures, spotlights on local crafts, poetry, book reviews, and many other contributions. The diversity of topics reflects the curiosity and openness that drive the association.

Most of the authors are CEPS members, but the association also collaborates with recognized experts and local figures who are eager to share their expertise and enrich knowledge about the region. Through this collaborative effort, CEPS helps strengthen local identity and pass on the region’s heritage to present and future generations.
